KDE programma's installeren in Windows

Op de volgende site vind je hoe KDE te installeren op je windows pc en de KDE programma's in windows te gebruiken. Ik heb het zelf nog niet geprobeerd, mar zodra ik tijd heb zal ik het zeker testen. dit is de link naar de "How to".

dit is een kleine voorsmaak, Amarok in Vista. het strat op maar heeft blijkbaar nog problemen bij het afspelen van media.

Laat me grust weten hoe het voor jullie verliep.

Installatie TinyMe ( PClinuxOS)

Ik heb gisteren de distributie TinyMe ( gebaseerd op PClinuxOS) geïnstalleerd op mijn pc. TinyMe is ontwikkeld voor oudere computers en gebruikt standaard openbox als windowmanager. Het is een snelle distro en het gebruik van synaptic is echt handig. Ik heb besloten om KDE ( 3.5.8 ) bij te installeren, waardoor ik nu een afgeslankte versie van PClinuxOS bekom. Alles werkte naar behoren uitgezonderd het geluid. Mijn oudere geluidskaart wordt bijna nooit van de eerste keer herkend.

Ik zal het nu nog wat verder uittesten naar stabiliteit en multimedia toe... Hier allesinds al een paar screenshots.

Kflickr

I singned up for a Flickr account a few weeks ago. It's a very nice thing but Uploading pictures to Flickr via its Web-based interface is a hassle, particularly if you have dozens of shots to upload. Linux users have a better choice, though, in the form of Kflickr, a simple application for uploading shots to Flickr that will have your family photos online in no time....
